What Have I Done?

Just a few minutes ago I took a BIG step of faith and did something out of obedience to the Lor d that I never would have done on my own. This was huge for me (well...maybe not as huge as going to live in New Zealand for a year). I can't wait to see how the Lord blesses this act of obedience. I'm excited and nervous.

Just thought I'd publish this for the world to bear witness to the fact that I actually did do this thing.

What's The Attraction?

Jesus Christ is My Savior!
I could spend all of my days focusing on outward appearances, but why? I have the Holy Spirit living in me. The Holy Spirit is the real attraction. Hey, it's true...even now you're attracted to this odd but bold statement.

Here's what God has to say about the subject:

1 Peter 3:3-5
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful.

Proverbs 31:30
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
